# Privacy Policy **Effective and last updated**: October 29, 2026 This policy explains which personal data the website [herickjung.com.br](https://herickjung.com.br/) processes, why, and what your rights are. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018). The [Portuguese version](https://herickjung.com.br/privacy) prevails in case of any difference. ## 1. Summary - The website is informational: it has no forms, sign-up, login or client area. - The website **does not use cookies**. - Performance measurement (Vercel Speed Insights) only loads if you click **Accept** on the privacy notice. - We only receive contact details when you write to us yourself by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. - We do not sell or rent personal data. ## 2. Who is responsible The data controller is **Herick Jung**, who runs Herick Jung • Software Studio. Data we process ### 3.1 Messages you send us When you contact us by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn, we receive whatever you choose to send: name, email, phone number, company, role and a description of your project. The WhatsApp buttons on the website only open the app with a suggested message, which you can edit or not send. ### 3.2 Hosting access logs The website is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, each visit creates technical logs (IP address, browser, requested page, date and time), used to deliver the pages and protect the website against abuse. ### 3.3 Performance measurement (only with consent) If you click **Accept**, the website loads Vercel Speed Insights, which measures page speed. It records loading metrics, the page visited, device type, browser, operating system and approximate country. It does not use cookies and is not used to identify you. If you click **Reject**, or do not answer, it is not loaded. ### 3.4 Google fonts The website fonts (Inter and Outfit) are loaded from Google Fonts. To do that, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. ### 3.5 Browser local storage So the privacy notice is not shown on every visit, the website stores your choice (`hj_cookie_consent`) and its date (`hj_cookie_consent_date`) in your own browser (`localStorage`). This information is not sent to us. Your language choice is not stored. ## 4. Who we share data with Only with the providers needed for the website and contact channels to work: - **Vercel Inc.**: hosting and performance measurement. - **Google LLC**: delivery of the website fonts. - **Meta Platforms (WhatsApp)**, **LinkedIn** and the **email provider**: when you choose to talk to us through these channels. Each one processes data under its own policy. - **Public authorities**: only when required by law. ## 6. International transfers Vercel, Google, Meta and LinkedIn may process data on servers outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. These transfers follow article 33 of the LGPD, based on the contractual safeguards offered by these providers. ## 7. How long we keep data - **Messages and contact details**: for as long as the conversation or contract lasts and up to 5 years after the last contact, to meet legal obligations and defend ourselves in any legal claims. - **Access logs and performance metrics**: for the period set by Vercel, which deletes them automatically. - **Your choice on the privacy notice**: stays in your browser until you clear the website data. After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized. ## 8. Security The whole website is served over HTTPS, and access to received messages is restricted to the person responsible. No system on the internet is completely secure, but we handle data with the care the LGPD requires. ## 9. Your rights Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may at any time request: - Confirmation that we process your data, and access to it. - Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data. - Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data. - Data portability. - Information about who we share your data with. - Withdrawal of consent. How to change or withdraw your choice Click **Privacy Preferences** in the footer of the [home page](https://herickjung.com.br/). The privacy notice appears again and you can accept or reject performance measurement. If you had accepted, the page reloads without Speed Insights until you choose again. Clearing the website data in your browser has the same effect. ## 11. Children and teenagers The website is aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly process data of people under 18. ## 12. Changes to this policy When this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a revised update date. ## 13. Complaints If you believe your data was handled improperly, please talk to us first.
